How can we communicate the concept of The Homefront?  How can we build a space and plan an exhibition?

The Homefront is now an empty gallery waiting to be filled with all kinds of art and objects: paintings and photographs, furnishings and sculptures, film and video, food and music.  You're invited to come look at the space, brainstorm ideas and propose your projects.  Our task is to find ways for working together on an exhibition.  The idea is to draw on a range of practices and present unique perspectives on The Homefront.  We’ll discuss the options for displaying art in the gallery and test out different arrangements of works on paper.  Our "diagram" will be a roll of white paper on top of a table.

Come communicate your ideas, come talk with other artists, but most importantly, come and leave your trace on paper or in person.  I’m looking forward to meeting you!

Artists: Please bring a visual representation of your work: an image printed on a page or a small model.
Curators: I welcome your thoughts and suggestions for organizing this show spatially and thematically.
